Cutler Real Estate asked Martha a few questions so you can get to know her better, and here are Martha's replies.
1. What is your professional/educational background?
I graduated from Sandy Valley High School in 1992. Soon after, I completed the Radiologic Technology program at Aultman Hospital. I began my career as an x-ray tech, and then obtained my registry in CT. I've been working as a Cat Scan technologist at Aultman Hospital for 25 years.
2. Why did you choose a career in real estate?
I have always loved looking at houses and seeing the potential in each and every one. Over the past few years, I invested in five rental properties. My desire now is to help guide others to see, and reach, the benefits of home ownership and investments in real estate.
3. What area do you live in currently and what do you like about where you live?
I currently live in Harter Heights in Canton. All of my rental properties are here as well. I love that it feels like a small-town neighborhood in the city. It is diverse and friendly. Mainly the convenience and proximity to everything is wonderful.
4. How do you spend your free time?
Any time I can spend with my adult children is priceless to me. I also have a dog named Rosie. She is a Redbone Coonhound that I rescued from the pound, and I spend many evenings walking with her. I love spending time outside, working in my yards or even going for hikes with friends.
5. If you could only keep 5 possessions what would they be?
6. In one word, how do you think your friends/family would describe you?
